Surface porous coat not only increases heat transfer area, but also forms innumerable nucleation site to largely increase nucleation rate. Interconnected pores can also agitate local liquid during bubbling process, further increasing heat transfer coefficient outside tube. With synergy of many enhancements, heat transfer efficiency is greatly improved.
