Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing

Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing is stainless steel tubes with helical groove obtained from a plain tube by cold forming. The quantity of Helix and Angle could be designed to optimize the heat transfer performance.
Corrugated Tube designed for shell and tube heat exchangers Characteristicas:
1. High efficiency of heat transfer coefficient in corrugated tube heat exchanger.
2. Similiar with normal tubes without dead zone.
3. Lower exchange area in corrugated tube heat exchanger.
4. Lower fouling in corrugated tube heat exchanger.Because of the self-cleaning effect provided by the higher fluid turbulence.
5. Shorter residence times of heat exchanger, because we need’t stop to clean the corrugated heat exchanger. 6. Longer running times with corrugated tube in corrugated tube heat exchanger.
7. Increasing fluid turbulence when flowing through, its means that turbulent flow can take place even with low Reynolds number. In fact, while for a plain surface tube the transition regime between laminar and turbulent flow is around 2000-2500, in corrugated tube this transition can be located close to Reynolds 500.
Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubes Application:
Stainless Steel Corrugated Pipe Can be used to connect the form of tube soft and flexible, with good defensive displacement and vibration and noise reduction and other notable features. High and low temperature resistant hose (-196°C – +420°C), high pressure, a wide range of transmission media can work under high pressure hot water delivery temperature , high temperature steam , compressed hot air, oil, organic solvents, corrosion Liquid gas and other media , are widely used
Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing shall be clearly stencil with mill mark. The marking shall include: Donghao Stainless Steel or brand, the specification number, and grade, the condition, hot finished or cold finished, and the wall designation, minimum wall or average wall, heat number and heat treatment lot identification.

What is tube sheet layout?

What is tube sheet layout? A tube sheet is a component used in shell and tube heat exchangers and other types of heat transfer equipment. It is a flat plate with holes drilled in it, through which tubes are inserted and secured. The tube sheet serves as a barrier between the two fluids, allowing heat to be transferred from one to the other. The layout of the tube sheet depends on the design of the heat exchanger, which includes the number of tubes, the size of the tubes, and the spacing between the tubes. The layout is typically determined using computer-aided design (CAD) software, which can optimize the placement of the tubes to achieve the desired heat transfer performance. In general, the tubes are arranged in a triangular or square pattern on the tube sheet. The triangular pattern is often preferred because it provides better support for the tubes and reduces the risk of vibration and damage. The spacing between the tubes is also important, as it affects the flow rate and pressure...

What is aluminum finned tubes?

What is aluminum finned tubes? Aluminum finned tubes are a type of finned tube air heat exchanger that uses aluminum fins attached to a tube made of a different material, such as copper or steel. The aluminum fins are typically extruded or formed to increase the surface area of the tube, which in turn increases the efficiency of heat transfer. Aluminum finned tubes are commonly used in HVAC systems, as well as in industrial and power plant applications. They are preferred over other types of finned tubes in some applications because they are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and have good thermal conductivity. Additionally, aluminum is relatively inexpensive compared to other metals commonly used in heat exchangers, such as copper and stainless steel. The specific properties of aluminum finned tubes can vary depending on the alloy used to make the fins. For example, aluminum fins made from alloys such as 6061 and 3003 have good corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, while those...

What is the difference between pipe bends and elbows?

Bends and elbows are fittings used to change the direction of a pipe. These two kinds of pipe fittings have a wide range of applications in construction, but in actual use, the performance of pipe bends and elbows is different, and elbows are used much more than pipe bends. What is the difference between pipe bends and elbows? An elbow is a pipe part with a bend, which is a commonly used pipe part. Bends are usually manufactured to specific needs. Compared with the elbow, the elbow is much longer and is a curved pipe, while the elbow is only a part that changes the direction of the pipe. Although both are components that change the direction of the pipeline, there are many differences between these two components. 1. Different manufacturing processes for  pipe bends and elbows In the manufacturing process cold and hot bent pipes can be made of pipe bends, which directly bent by the pipe bending machine, and the  bent pipe  can be manufactured at one time without secondary...
